« Biafine » : the Dédo show recording

March 2024

Dédo records his last show at the Théâtre l’Européen and it’s mind-blowing!

Frenetic Arts is filming in partnership with Bonne Nouvelle Productions.

Scheduled to air at the end of 2024 on Comédie+, CSTAR and MyCanal.

About the show:

Far from the clichés about metal, Dédo continues the dialogue he started with his audience in his two previous shows. Without any taboos, he continues to deliver his most personal thoughts, with a sense of the absurd or of the image as effective as ever. Between his reflections – on the beekeeper’s job, his difficulties in staying in a relationship or his vision of current events – and the reactions they arouse in the public, Dédo demonstrates with intelligence and a lot of benevolence the power of dialogue and this need to be able to continue to laugh, about oneself, about everything, together.

The audience !

“Sensitivity + game intelligence =
nearly 2 hours and 30 minutes
of validated show.”
_____

“Really funny, go for it, the guy is 🤘”
_____

“From the 1st minute, Dédo’s personality blew us away!
And then, between a philosophical remark and a general depout,
we navigate through our thoughts
by getting picked up when
we don’t expect it!! »
_____

“Whatever city you are in, go there!!
You’re going to have a great evening!! »

Cult

Comedy web series

Created in 2008, this web-series hilariously deciphers some pop-culture monuments such as Avatar, Spider-Man, Harry Potter or the mangas One Piece and One Punch Man. Dédo stays true to the corrosive humor of his stand-up shows, while following in the footsteps of Gotlib or Monty Python! Some episodes have become cult classics, including the one dedicated to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which peaked at nearly 440,000 views on YouTube.

Written and with: Dédo

Directed by: Alexandre Poncet
Co-directed for some episodes: Johann Garcia

Co-production with Tsume for some episodes

The lines that no one could forget!

“What’s it about? We don’t really know…”

“We’ve got style, we’ve got style, we’ve got style… »

“Do stuff, say stuff, you’ve been stealing my life for 10 minutes!”

“If the key to your plot is a piece of furniture, make a porn instead. At least you can see the money on the screen!”

“And that’s still good.”

Special Effects : Open your eyes !

2018 – 10 minutes

The “Cité des Sciences / Universcience” called on Frenetic Arts to produce a short film to raise awareness of the art of special effects. This program was screened from October 17, 2017 to August 19, 2018 as part of the exhibition Special Effects: Burst the Screen!

The editing, the color grading, the music, the acting all contribute to the effect and contribute to its full success, or sometimes its failure. It doesn’t matter that the heartbreaking farewell scene between the human and the alien was shot on a green screen by an actor without a partner, as long as we are moved! It is the spectator, and only the spectator, who feels the effect, validates it and transforms it into a lived emotion. It is for his gaze that dozens and sometimes hundreds of artists have worked for many months. Discover, through the history of cinema, how the 7th art is constantly inventing new effects and playing with the limits of our perception to offer ever more extraordinary illusions… and ever more undetectable! In this movie theater, observe how the special effects play out from the viewer’s eye in several films such as Cabbage Soup, The Wall Pass, Nana, The Testament of Orpheus, or even Star Wars.

” A clip straight out of the crazy universe
of the returning
Rufus Bellefleur.
And on this one, he was supported by
Alexandre Poncet to make this long illustration of Love me like you hate me.
Yes, long, but tasty! 7 minutes full of
satirical references to The Karate Kid, Chaplin and The Holy Grail.”

The musicodrome.com

Directed by Mad Movies journalist Alexandre Poncet (also the co-author of Creatures Designers – The Frankenstein Complex, a documentary on special effects in cinema), the video features Rufus, of course, but also many prestigious guests, including Mouss from Zebda, Nina Goern from Cats on Trees, Miss-Z and Xav from Punish Yourself,  Andreas and Nicolas, and of course the inevitable Dedo.
